Perception is Reality … Half Empty, Half Full … Both Are Full of Crap!

Does the perception is reality cliché; “is glass half full or half empty,” work for you? We all know that perception creates reality. The idea of looking at a glass filled with water, to the half way point, gives a good representation of different ways of perceiving the same thing.

Just like those pictures or optical illusions where you can see two completely different images, depending on how you look at the picture. For example:

If your glass is half empty, you see the missing part and see the world in a negative light. You have to compete for everything, in a dog-eat-dog world.

If you see the glass as being half full, you see, all the water, and have a positive perception. Life is abundant, with enough for everyone, and there is plenty to share, and give away.

But I have always felt that that analogy was missing the whole point. If your perception creates reality, why limit yourself to the glass being half full or half empty. You can look at that glass any way you want.

Break convention … shift the paradigm.

How would you look at your glass of water?

It took many, many years to put my perception into words, but I felt it, all those years. My glass is so full, of the positive, it is over flowing and pushing out, over the top of the rim, all the negative crap. I have no room in my glass, for negative garbage. Or … in my life.

If you step back and look at your glass, with new eyes … what do you see?
